Turnabout Terms of Consignment
- First time consignors by appointment only.
- A minimum selling value per season is required to establish an account.
- After the initial appointment, drop off items at your convenience seven days a week.
- A computer list is provided for all items consigned. Items are marked down as necessary until they sell.
- The consignment period is six months: March – August for spring/summer and September – February for fall winter.
- You receive 40 per cent of selling price. Some exceptions apply. Cleaning and repairing charges are deducted. Payment is by cheque or monies or may be applied to store purchases
- Unsold items may be stored until the next season, returned to the consignor or, to charity.
How to Get the Most from Consigning:
- Ask questions and understand the consignment contract.
- Be realistic. Prices depend on the value, the age of the item, and, the demand for it.
- Items must be “like new” and generally not more than two years of age.
- We accept casual jeans to elegant ball gowns, nightwear and all accessories. Import scarves, belts, jewellery, hats, footwear and purses are in high demand.
- Our shoppers love labels from: Gap, Banana Republic, Jones, DKNY, Calvin Klein, to Versace, Prada, Armani and Chanel.
